Have you taken time to celebrate accomplishments in 2013 yet? Hopefully you and your students make a habit of noticing attained success criteria toward specified goals in your classrooms. We have a lot to celebrate in SPS; for a moment consider what you are proud of in the arena of technology. Nationally, educators are being asked to celebrate effective use of technology in their classroom on February 6, 2013, the second annual “Digital Learning Day.” Perhaps you could use this date as an occasion to stop and celebrate what you do every day. Many of you may be willing to tweet or post a picture on Facebook to showcase what you do with your SMARTBoard, within eMints classrooms, or with Web 2.0 tools, etc. Some of you may choose to explore the suggestions at this link to participate in the event of this date.

Thank you for taking time to consider how you and your students might benefit from this focus and enjoy your celebrations.
